The greater Cape Town region is blessed with a richness of diverse landscapes, culture and architecture – all within an hour’s drive of each other. This, coupled with superb light in particular in March and September, is what often attracts photographers from around the world. This tour tries to incorporate a few of these diverse elements. Architecturally, there is the old slave quarter of Bo Kaap, bathing boxes of Kalk Bay and of course the famous Cape Dutch homes that are dotted within the suburbs and towns of the wine country. Scenically, Table Mountain, Chapmans Peak and the Cape of Good Hope will keep you busy – not to mention the autumn colors in the wine country. Lastly, Cape Town has a cosmopolitan face in terms of cultures, and with it, its own unique set of characters.  Tours further afield to photograph the Namaqualand flowers in August, can also be arranged.
