This tour is less structured than other tours as it is generally tailored to your interests and wine tastes. A typical outing involves visiting the epicenter of the wine region – Stellenbosch. This university town is cloaked in history andl is renowned for its beautifully restored Cape Dutch architecture. The Village museum is well worth a visit in this regard as it displays 4 architectural
“time pieces” from the early 17th to mid 18th century. Shops and stores are also aplenty. From here we visit some of the many estates and wineries depending on your preference for white or red wines. These may also include a cellar tour should there be a request to do so. Lunch is always
welcomed after the morning’s activities and the gourmet capital of the wine country is undoubtedly Franschoek. Restaurants and shops abound and after lunch we encourage folks to have a stroll through the charming town. Further tastings in the area can be done before returning to Cape Town.
